Our Moon on the 29th of June 2025. Caught this beauty after a full day of outdoor activity. Always pays to pause and look up once in awhile.
My second shot was taken around 2:38am this morning. What a show!!!
3-13-25 I was able to catch the Moon shortly after it appeared last night in Whitmore Lake. Photo was taken around 8:30pm.
Made a visit to the conservatory on Belle Isle for my wife's Birthday...beautiful place and a "must" to add to your places to visit. Can't wait to go back and get a closer look.
Spotted this beautiful Red tailed Hawk perched on a limb and surrounded by red berries...the rainfall added a nice touch to the image and makes it look as if he is surrounded by diamonds. Never gets old. Taken at Kensington Metropark on my ride home from work.
After detecting some movement in the overgrown field I decided to take a closer look and be patient. As I got closer I could see the vegetation moving and sure enough, the young doe popped her head up to see what I was doing. Glad I stopped to look and more thankful she did the same.
8/19/2024 - Super Blue Moon hanging over Whitmore Lake just prior to 10pm. The Jet in the foreground was an extra added bonus and really adds to the overall image. Image was captured on the shoreline of Whitmore Lake as I steadied the camera against a nearby light pole. Can't wait to catch the next Moon Shot.
Young Fox Kit pauses to check me out before racing back into the family den. So Cute!!!!!
Osprey makes his way to the nest in very dramatic fashion as he delivers another fresh meal.
Bald Eagle takes a break in a comfortable spot...beating the recent heat that has visited us.
Sandhill Crane takes a moment to relax and catch a brief nap on the shores of Kent Lake within Kensington Metropark.
A downtown street scene in Brighton, MI. You can definitely feel the Spirit of Christmas right here.
