Even though the day has passed, people who take prescription drugs and supplements are still invited to participate in National Check Your Meds Day.
It's not too late!
Although the inaugural event was held Saturday, people are still encouraged to bring their prescription drugs and supplements to a local pharmacy for brown bag medication reviews.
The idea for this day was created by Consumer Reports and the National Community Pharmacists Association.
