CHICAGO – Game 7 between the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks has gone into overtime.
The tied score is 1-1.
The winner earns a trip to the conference final to face reigning Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles. The Blackhawks would begin the series at home, while the Red Wings would start on the road.
The Blackhawks became the 49th team in NHL history to force a seventh game after trailing 3-1 in a series. Half of the first 48 teams have won Game 7.
