HOUSTON – Should college athletes be paid?

That's the question being raised this week by TIME magazine  featuring Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.

On Thursday, TIME tweeted a photo of the magazine cover, "Our new cover: It's time to pay college athletes, featuring Johnny Manziel."

TIME magazine says the debate of whether or not college athletes should be paid has been simmering for years and the urgency comes after Manziel allegedly received money for signing autographs earlier this year.

Later, the NCAA and Texas A&M determined he did not take money, but posed the question, "Why shouldn't he?"

The issue hits stands September 6.

The article claims change, in some form, is coming to college sports, but we want to hear from you.
