Vic Howe, Gordie's younger brother, dies at 85

Vic Howe, the younger brother of hockey legend Gordie Howe and a former NHL player himself, died this weekend at age 85, the NHL reports.

Vic Howe played right wing in 33 NHL games -- all for the New York Rangers -- between 1950 and 1955.

He moved to Moncton, New Brunswick in 1957 where he became a constable with the Canadian National Railway Police, according to his obituary in the StarPhoenix. He lived in Moncton until his death.

The obituary does not list a cause of death.
