Oklahoma State bowl ring ignores loss to Central Michigan

MOUNT PLEASANT, MI – Oklahoma State's football team had a winning record this season, as reflected on their celebratory Alamo Bowl victory rings. But the record on the rings leaves out one detail -- the fact they lost to Central Michigan University.

Early in the season, CMU pulled off an upset victory over OSU. But, officials later admitted the CMU victory was due to incorrect calls. Oklahoma state ended their season with an 11-3 record, but their celebratory Alamo Bowl victory rings have "11-2" etched onto the side.

That CMU-OSU game will go down in the archives as a CMU victory, but according to the Oklahoma State, that game never happened.
