DETROIT – "The night is dark, and full of terrors," but July 28 will be fun, and full of joy at Comerica Park.

Why? Because some fans can get a bobblehead of J.D. Martinez sitting on the Iron Throne from Games of Thrones.

Yeah, it's pretty exciting.

Thousands of characters in Game of Thrones fought for the Iron Throne, but on Friday, July 28, it will be J.D. of House Martinez who rules the Seven Kingdoms.

The news comes just 2 1/2 months after the Tigers' outfielder was gifted a replica of Negan's barbed wire bat from The Walking Dead.

On top of racking up the popular TV show street cred, Martinez is nearing a return to the lineup after missing the first month of the season with injury.
