Red Wings are 0-2 in 2017-18 preseason play; 6 games remain on schedule

DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings are 0-2 in 2017-18 preseason play.
The Red Wings fell to the Boston Bruins, 4-2, on Tuesday in Boston and lost in overtime, 6-5, to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday in Pittsburgh.
The Red Wings will play their first (unofficial) game at the new Little Caesars Arena on Saturday against the Boston Bruins.
Here's what's left on the Red Wings' preseason schedule:
Thursday, Sept. 21: 8:30 p.m. @ Chicago
Saturday, Sept. 23: 7 p.m. vs. Boston
Monday, Sept. 25: 7:30 p.m. vs. Pittsburgh
Thursday, Sept. 28: 7:30 p.m. vs. Chicago
Friday, Sept. 29: 7:30 p.m. vs. Toronto
Saturday, Sept. 30: 7 p.m. @ Toronto
The first official Red Wings game of the 2017-18 season is Thursday, Oct. 5 against the Minnesota Wild at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
