Report: Pistons front office future will be up to new team president

The future of the Detroit Pistons front office is yet to be decided, as the team reportedly starts a search for a new president.
The job of head of basketball operations has been vacant since 2018, but Shams Charania of The Athletic reports, the Pistons will hire someone to fill it, with their search starting this week.

That new hire will be in charge of deciding the fate of general manager Troy Weaver and others in the team’s front office, as well as the direction of the team as a whole.
The Pistons just wrapped up the 2023-2024 season with 14 wins, a franchise-record, the worst in the NBA.
