The mega-fight between Terence “Bud” Crawford and Saul “Canelo” Álvarez has its date and venue set.

It was announced on Tuesday (June 17) that the bout would take place on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, inside Allegiant Stadium, where the Raiders play in Las Vegas.

The fight was initially slated for Friday, Sept. 12, after Álvarez defeated William Scull by unanimous decision to become a two-time undisputed super middleweight world champion.

Crawford crawled into the ring and took the hand of Turki Alalshikh, who stepped aside for the champions to have their official face-off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Las Vegas hit the jackpot as they will host the Riyadh Season Undisputed and Ring Magazine Super-Middleweight showdown.

Multiple reports indicated that TKO wanted to turn this fight into an extravagant sporting event, something similar to the Super Bowl, as Crawford and Álvarez have monumental followings.

With that in mind, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders would be ideal, as the stadium holds at least 65,000 seats.

Not to mention, the fight will be streamed on Netflix and promoted by UFC CEO Dana White and his parent company TKO and Riyadh Season.

Speaking of Riyadh, it was also announced that the first press conference for Bud and Álvarez would take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, in Saudi Arabia.

To get your juices going, both fighters have reached this level due to their dominance in the squared circle.

However, their journeys are vastly different in how they have arrived at this pivotal point of potentially becoming one of the biggest fights in boxing history.
