Detroit Pistons free agent under investigation for possible gambling on NBA
Malik Beasley being investigated by US Attorney’s Office, ESPN reports

DETROIT – Detroit Pistons star free agent Malik Beasley is being investigated for possibly gambling on the NBA, according to Shams Charania.
Charania, of ESPN, reports Beasley is being investigated by the United States District Attorney’s Office.

The investigation surrounds allegations of gambling related to NBA games and prop bets, according to the report.
Beasley is currently a free agent after helping to lead the Pistons to the postseason in 2024-25. He’s considered one of the top available players this offseason because of his elite shotmaking.
He averaged 16.3 points per game while shooting 41.6% from beyond the three-point line this season.
