On Monday morning, Aug. 11, 2025, Bourque announced his commitment to the Wolverines, according to well-known recruiting insider Hayes Fawcett.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound QB is the No. 75 overall player in the 2027 class and the top recruit in the state of Massachusetts.

Bourque had scholarship offers from more than two dozen schools, including Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, and Texas A&M.

He’s the third member of Michigan’s 2027 recruiting class, joining Louis Esposito (the son of Michigan’s defensive line coach) and Tristan Dare -- both interior offensive linemen.

Sherrone Moore and his staff landed the top quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class in five-star Bryce Underwood.

Four-star Brady Smigiel is committed to Michigan’s 2026 class. He’s a four-star ranked No. 10 at the position.
