Turner led the Panthers with 40 receptions and four touchdown catches during the 2025 season.
His 355 receiving yards ranked ninth in the United Football League.
Turner was key in the conference championship, catching six passes–including a 76-yard touchdown grab, which was the Panthers’ longest offensive play of the season.
Turner also returned five punts for 35 yards.
A native of Springfield, Illinois, Turner played collegiately at Illinois and previously appeared in 44 NFL games over five seasons with three different teams, totaling 29 receptions for 414 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Turner should be a healthy addition to the 49er receiving core as star receiver Brandon Aiyuk recovers from tearing his ACL and MCL last season.
