ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Michigan Wolverines baseball team will be featured in MLB The Show 26, continuing the game’s inclusion of collegiate teams introduced last year.
Among the schools immortalized in digital form are the University of Michigan, the University of Arkansas, the University of Florida, and Stanford University, with more announcements expected soon.

The Wolverines will appear in the new Road To The Show: Road to Cooperstown mode, where players start from high school, build their legacy, and aim for the Hall of Fame.

San Diego Studio released the gameplay trailer on Tuesday on X, showcasing new controls, deeper immersion, and more action across modes including Road to The Show, Diamond Dynasty, Storylines, and Franchise.
Highlights include the expanded amateur experience featuring the NCAA Men’s College World Series format and bracket, and 11 additional college teams, bringing the total to 19.
Diamond Dynasty returns with The World Baseball Classic, featuring all WBC ballparks like the Tokyo Dome and Estadio Hiram Bithorn, plus mini-season overhauls and new rewards.
Storylines mode continues with Negro Leagues: Season 4, adding new legends, uniforms, and a stadium to celebrate impactful but lesser-known ballplayers.
Franchise mode introduces a new Trade Logic System with a comprehensive Trade HUB and a modernized lineup and pitching-rotation logic that reflect current MLB trends.
Gameplay updates include Big Zone hitting, Bear Down Pitching for clutch control, a ratings overhaul, a Plate Coverage Indicator sensitivity slider, and over 500 new animations.
Collegiate teams added to MLB The Show 25 for the first time included South Carolina, LSU, TCU, Cal State Fullerton, Texas, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee.
MLB The Show 26 launches March 17, 2026, with early access starting March 13 for Digital Deluxe Edition owners.
