Hello WDIV Insiders, Rhonda Walker here!
We’re calling on all teachers who are enjoying your summer off -- so jealous, by the way!
While I know it’s still July and it’s your rest and recovery time from last school year, I’m hoping you can take a moment to chat with me soon about the upcoming school year.
My goal is to make sure your students and parents are ready for a successful school year in your classroom, and of course, there’s no better person to talk to about that than you!
I’m hoping to gather some helpful tips for students of all ages, as well as their parents. Be candid:
- What is crucial for success?
- What will help you in the classroom?
- How can parents help you with your students?
My goal is to compose some helpful lists based on input from a variety of actual Metro Detroit teachers.
We can connect however you feel comfortable: Either in person, on Zoom, or by phone/email, and you can remain anonymous.
Please include your name, your school, and how long you’ve been teaching. We want to make sure we’re hearing from a variety of local educators, and please be assured: Your information will not be shared publicly if you prefer to remain anonymous.
To participate, please fill out the form below.
Thanks!
Rhonda Walker, WDIV Local 4 Morning Show Anchor/Reporter
