Kim DeGiulio

Reporter

Kim DeGiulio came to Local 4 in 2015 as a traffic reporter on Local 4 News Today. She was eager to be back in her home state after previously working in Ohio at the NBC affiliate in Toledo.

Kim has since expanded her role at WDIV in many ways. You can catch her reporting on weeknights in the 5 and 6 p.m. newscast. Or you may see her filling in on Live in the D at 10 a.m. or at the anchor desk on the weekends.

Kim was raised in Dearborn where she attended Dearborn High School. Growing up so close to Detroit, she spent a lot of time in the city. Kim’s favorite part about working in Detroit is seeing how far the city has come from where it used to be when she was growing up.

She attended Arizona State University where she studied broadcast journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Kim loved the Arizona sunshine but she couldn't wait to come back to the Midwest to start her broadcasting career and be closer to her family.

Kim now lives in Detroit with her husband and their rescue dog. She enjoys taking her dog on walks around the city and trying out all of the great restaurants that Detroit has to offer. Kim also enjoys yoga, coffee, interior decorating and rooting for the Michigan Wolverines and her Arizona State Sun Devils in football and basketball. Most of all Kim loves spending time her family!
