After being cited by undercover sheriff’s deputies for a lewd act and having his truck towed, Detroit Police Commissioner Bryan Ferguson resigned from the board Thursday night.

A Detroit police commissioner resigned Thursday after initially denying allegations that he was caught with a prostitute the day before.

Undercover deputies who found a Detroit police commissioner with a prostitute were reportedly asked if they could help him out, but they cited him instead.

The man, according to WCSO, identified himself as Detroit Police Commissioner Bryan Ferguson.

With the board overseeing the Detroit Police Department under the microscope and investigation, two staffers are on leave as police now look into multiple allegations.
