But users questioned why he chose the nonprofit, which has criticized him for supporting anti-Semitic messaging in the past. It was an attempt to "move on" from that incident that sparked the donation in the first place, he had said. PewDiePie, who typically vlogs about video games and memes, recently celebrated reaching 100 million subscribers on YouTube, where he's earned the second-highest number of subscribers of any creator.
