35 years ago on June 21, 1987, a tornado made its way through a mobile home park in Novi Michigan. The tornado, damaging around 55 homes, killing one, and injuring six more, touched down at the Chateau Estates mobile home park.

On Monday, June 8, 1953, disaster struck the north side of Flint and the northern suburb of Beecher. The National Weather Service reported that the Flint-Beecher tornado was Michigan’s worst natural disaster in terms of deaths and injuries.

The National Weather Service confirmed that two separate tornadoes passed through Armada in Macomb County and White Lake in Oakland County.
