Claressa Shields, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and undisputed womenโs world middleweight champion, is hosting her second annual Christmas giveaway from noon to 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23 in Mt. Morris Township. Food, toys, and winter wear will be given away. Last year, more than $4,000 worth of toys -- including scooters, dolls, bicycles, sporting equipment, Nerf guns, train sets -- were given away to local children.
