The Big Ten Conference has denied claims by a University of Michigan regent that Commissioner Tony Petitti threatened the school over a $2.4 billion investment plan.

A pro-Palestinian group at the University of Michigan has been suspended for two years and will lose its funding in connection with protesters’ demands for divestiture from companies doing business with Israel.

Police have broken up a pro-Palestinian encampment at the University of Michigan less than a week after demonstrators showed up at the home of a school official and placed fake body bags on her lawn.
