Tyler, a Loyola High School student, was at a sleepover at the hotel when he was shot.

The boy was rushed to a hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. Police said he is not expected to survive.

ROMULUS, Mich. – A man was killed Friday after being injured from falling six stories inside the atrium of the Westin Hotel at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. A representative with the airport said that paramedics attempted to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is under investigation.
