PORT HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A tanker truck carrying milk rolled over Monday morning closing the westbound lanes of I-94 near Range Road in Port Huron Township.
All westbound lanes of I-94 were closed, but now one lane is open.

According to St. Clair County Sheriff Deputies, the truck's contents spilled over the road at about 9:30 a.m.
Authorities said the driver of a 2004 Nissan SUV ran out of gas and parked his vehicle in the right hand lane of I-94. Two semi-trucks came up on the vehicle. The first one was able to swerve and avoid the SUV. The second, hauling a tanker filled with milk, also swerved, but clipped the rear end of the SUV.
The driver of the tanker, a 34-year-old man from Harbor Beach, lost control of the rig and the tanker broke away from the cab.
The driver of the SUV, a 36-year-old man from Dearborn Heights, was cited for careless driving.
