MDOT: Road closures on M-5 ramps to cause major delays

MDOT advises drivers to be alert of new closures starting.
M-5 ramp to 12 Mile will be closed at midnight.

At 10 a.m., the following closures will take place:
West I-696 to north M-5 ramp
West M-5 ramp to north M-5
North I-275 to north M-5
A detour is available on west I-96 to Beck Road to east I-96 to north M-5. The only available northbound M-5 ramp is the east I-96 to north M-5 ramp.
All ramps listed will be closed until mid-October.
MDOT says drivers should expect major delays.
