Michigan Medicine ER nurse saves uncle’s life with CPR
ER nurse Taylor Krupp, from Michigan Medicine, saved his uncle Keith Vrable's life using CPR and an AED during a pickleball tournament in New Lothrop. Vrable collapsed with no pulse, and Krupp's quick actions and the availability of an AED were crucial in reviving him multiple times until medical help arrived. After a successful stent procedure for a blocked artery, Vrable recovered well, emphasizing the importance of knowing CPR and AED use. Inspired by the incident, several family members have since become CPR and AED-certified.
