Bandage hacks for cuts that won’t stay covered

Dr. Frank McGeorge offers tips for making band-aids adhere better to tricky areas like fingertips. His method involves cutting slits into the ends of the band-aid to create "legs" that conform to the area's shape. He advises cleaning the cut, applying antibacterial ointment, and then using the modified band-aid to ensure a snug fit. Dr. McGeorge will also be hosting a "First Aid Basics" class at the University of Michigan-Dearborn on July 15.
