Detroit businessman fuels Beecher High School's restoration effort

Beecher High School in Genesee County, known for its state championship-winning sports legacy, faced challenges with outdated facilities. After losing a contest for new locker rooms, Detroit businessman Matt Rizik from the Rocket Family of Companies stepped in to personally donate and raise funds, leading to the restoration of the entire gym.
