Munising Falls Trail closed summer for major overhaul

The Munising Falls Trail at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore will remain closed throughout the summer due to storm damage. A complete trail replacement, which has been in planning for years, will commence in spring 2026. The new design will focus on being storm-resistant and more accessible for people with mobility needs.
