Healthcare providers alarmed as report projects 700K may lose coverage in Michigan

A new report from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services projects that over 700,000 Michiganders could lose health care coverage due to proposed federal Medicaid cuts. These cuts would significantly impact hospitals and nursing homes, reducing payments by $2.3 billion and $325 million, respectively.
