How the U.S.-China trade pause affects prices for holiday shopping

The U.S. and China have agreed to a 90-day pause on tariff hikes affecting online shoppers, particularly on platforms like Shein and Temu. During this period, tariffs are set at 54% for goods shipped via the U.S. Postal Service and 30% for those delivered by commercial carriers like FedEx or UPS. This pause provides temporary relief, though it remains uncertain what will happen after the 90 days, leaving manufacturers and consumers concerned about potential cost increases if a permanent deal isn't reached.
