Leaders close in on road repair deal at Mackinac Policy Conference

On day three of the Mackinac Policy Conference on Mackinac Island, one of the issues being discussed was a familiar one: fixing Michigan's roads. Even the Mackinac Bridge itself is currently full of orange construction barrels. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Republican lawmakers are seeking common ground, and as Local 4 reports from the Grand Hotel, there's reason to believe a compromise is close.
