Man convicted in stabbing death at Roseville Belle Tire

In 2023, Shane Burns was convicted of multiple charges, including first-degree premeditated murder and assault with intent to murder, following a random attack in Roseville, Michigan. Burns fatally stabbed Cheryl Ann Parsley while she was filling her tires at a Belle Tire and later attacked Robert Baecke Jr. at a bus stop, injuring him. After his arrest, Burns attempted self-harm and was found with firearms and ammunition in his vehicle. He faces life imprisonment, with sentencing scheduled for July 24.
