MSU shooting victims secure $29.75 million in settlements
Three victims injured in a mass shooting at Michigan State University on February 13, 2023, have reached multi-million dollar settlements with the university, totaling $29.75 million. Nathan Statly, Troy Forbush, and Yukai “John” Hao, each suffered severe gunshot wounds during the attack. Statly will receive $14.25 million, Hao $13 million, and Forbush $2.5 million for their injuries, pain and suffering, and emotional harm. Michigan State University expressed condolences and support for the victims and their families.
