Search for missing child ends in tragedy in Harrison Township

A 2-year-old boy, Maxwell Anderson, was found in the Clinton River near his home on Manse Street in Harrison Township on Monday, June 16. After being reported missing at 11 a.m., deputies discovered him in the river about 30 minutes later and attempted life-saving measures before rushing him to the hospital. Sadly, Maxwell was pronounced dead in the afternoon, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
