Livonia hit-and-run driver held on $600,000 bond after deadly crash

Tammy Sandoval, 55, has been charged in connection with a deadly hit-and-run in Livonia that killed a 3-year-old boy and critically injured his mother and twin sister. The incident occurred at the intersection of Merriman Road near Lyndon after the Livonia Spree Festival. Sandoval, who has a prior impaired driving conviction, faces charges including operating a vehicle with a suspended license and failing to stop at the scene. The judge set her bond at $600,000. The 3-year-old twin sister is recovering at home, while the mother remains in a medically induced coma. The investigation is ongoing.
