Unrelated axe crimes in Southfield baffle police

Southfield police are investigating two separate axe-related crimes that occurred almost simultaneously. In one incident, Blake Herring, 22, robbed a PNC Bank with a hatchet and attacked a woman, striking her in the head. Initially, officers believed both crimes were committed by the same individual due to their close timing.
