Rainfall record set at Detroit Metro Airport

A new rainfall record was set at Detroit Metro Airport on Monday, July 28, 2025. The daily rainfall record of 2.4 inches was set, which breaks the old record of 2.16 inches, which was set in 2011. Additional rainfall will add to the new total before midnight.
