Sikh Heritage Banquet in Westland honors community service, celebrates culture

The 33rd Annual Sikh Heritage Banquet in Westland celebrated Sikh-Americans' rich culture, featuring law enforcement, fire department members, and elected officials. Local 4's Priya Mann received a Community Service Award. The event highlighted the theme of positivity, with Harpreet Sachdeva emphasizing unity and shared values between Sikh and American cultures. Since the early 1900s, over 125,000 Sikh-Americans have settled in Michigan.
