Nanny charged with murder in Royal Oak stabbing
Samantha Booth, a nanny known to the family for two years, was charged with the murder of David Ong, an 83-year-old man, after he was found stabbed to death in his daughter's Royal Oak home. The incident occurred on October 24, when Ong was asked by his daughter to check on his granddaughter under Booth's care. Upon investigation, Booth was found by police with blood on her hands and was arrested after a brief chase. She faces six felony charges, including first-degree murder.
