FBI links Dearborn raid to 2021 Westland shooting

An FBI raid in Dearborn targeted Gregory Augusta Powell, connected to a 2021 shooting at the Vision Lanes Bowling alley in Westland. Powell, a convicted felon, was identified through surveillance footage as the gunman in the altercation that led to the shooting. He was arrested and admitted to possessing a gun despite being ineligible. Federal charges are now filed against him for possession of ammunition, with evidence showing the ammunition was manufactured outside Michigan. Powell remains in custody awaiting a detention hearing.
