FBI raid in Dearborn targets suspect in 2021 Westland bowling alley shooting

An FBI raid in Dearborn was linked to the 2021 shooting at Vision Lanes Bowling Alley in Westland, targeting suspect Gregory Augusta Powell. Powell, previously convicted of attempted murder in 2006 and released before April 2021, allegedly shot a man after an altercation at the bowling alley, admitting to possessing a gun illegally obtained in Lansing. Surveillance footage and evidence, including Powell's identification left at the scene, identified him as the gunman.
