Michigan engineering expert Chris Kobus breaks down community concerns over massive data center plan
A proposed data center in Livingston County has taken another major turn. The developer has withdrawn both the rezoning request and the text amendment that were set to go before the Howell Township Board on Monday night. Even with that move, the meeting will still happen, and community members will get a chance to speak during public comment. The project, reportedly backed by Meta, has faced strong pushback from homeowners over water use, utility costs, and environmental impacts.
