Local organization provides winter essentials to families, their pets in Southwest Detroit

Some rough weather is on the way, and one local group is making sure pets and their families aren’t left out in the cold. “Detroiters Helping Each Other” handed out hay, pet supplies, and winter gear for families in need in southwest Detroit. A truck full of food was also part of the giveaway. As you can see, there was a solid turnout. Detroiters Helping Each Other was created by two local moms and helps families struggling to make ends meet.
