Oakland County reports new measles case, exposure at Commerce Township hospital

Oakland County has confirmed its second measles case of 2025, this time involving a child. The pediatric measles case was announced Tuesday, Dec. 16. The Oakland County Health Department said people who visited DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital’s Emergency Department in Commerce Township on Dec. 7 between 7:20 p.m. and 11:10 p.m. may have been exposed to measles.
