Detective accused of fleeing state to avoid testimony

Retired detective Kevin Greca, previously in charge of the Dee Warner murder investigation, was arrested after allegedly fleeing Michigan to avoid testifying in the trial against Dale Warner, who is accused of murdering his wife Dee. Greca, considered a material witness, was apprehended in Ohio, and prosecutors claim he avoided subpoenas for eight months. Despite his attorney's claims that Greca was not evading authorities, Dee Warner's family questions his reluctance to testify. Greca is now out on bond, and the trial is set to begin on January 27, 2026.
