The Powerball jackpot has reached $1.7 billion for the drawing on Dec. 24, 2025. If someone wins the jackpot Wednesday night, it will be the second time it has ever been won on Christmas Eve. In 2011, a $128.8 million jackpot was won from a ticket bought in Maryland.
