A man was arrested for attempting to enter Romulus Middle School with a firearm. The school board president, Porsche Laster, shared the information on Facebook, noting the event occurred on January 6. As a precaution, the school was placed under a soft lockdown while the authorities investigate. Superintendent Dr. Benjamin Edmondson informed parents via robocall.
