Part of Prospect Street in Ypsilanti closed due to police investigation

Authorities are asking residents to avoid an area in Ypsilanti due to a police investigation. The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office sent out an alert just before 3 a.m. on Jan. 6 asking residents to avoid the area of Prospect Street near Towner Street in Ypsilanti. No further information was given.  Local 4 was at the scene and saw a car on its side, with police surrounding it. It’s unclear what led to this crash.
