A police chase in Washtenaw County resulted in a deadly shooting when the suspect allegedly pointed a shotgun at deputies after refusing to stop for a traffic violation. The pursuit, which began around 2 a.m., ended in a crash near a nursing home, with no passengers found in the suspect's van. The van sustained multiple bullet holes, and the suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. Michigan State Police are investigating the incident, keeping the street closed until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
