A 53-year-old man in Ypsilanti barricaded himself in a house, leading to a standoff with police that lasted over 30 hours. The incident caused significant damage to the property and was marked as unsafe. The standoff disrupted community services, notably affecting Meals on Wheels, which couldn't deliver to over 350 people on Monday.
